This 16-page artist book, Unfolding Barcelona, takes inspiration from Louise Bourgeois’s Ode à l’Oubli (2002), a hand-sewn fabric book created at the age of 91. What resonates with me is Bourgeois’s idea of a “personal archive of memory,” which I reimagine here through the lens of travel. Since traveling is central to my life, I chose to turn this book into a travelogue, capturing fragments of my journey to Barcelona in January 2025.
